Bethesda, MD - Primary Bathroom Remodel
From Dark & Dated to Bright & Luxurious
After relocating to Bethesda, MD, our client wanted her primary bathroom to reflect her style and lifestyle. The original space was dark, dated, and builder-grade—far from the spa-like retreat she envisioned.
We began by removing a wall to open up the shower and toilet areas, instantly improving flow and light. Luxurious Calacatta porcelain tile brightens the space while delivering the timeless elegance of marble with the durability of porcelain.
High-end features elevate the experience: a Mr. Steam, steam shower, Schluter heated floors, and a sleek Holspa floating bench inside a custom, clear ShowerGuard-coated enclosure.
Custom Woodharbor cabinetry offers thoughtful functionality, including a lower vanity area for makeup and hair styling, plus a tower cabinet for convenient, easy-access storage. LED-lit mirrors provide ideal lighting for daily routines, while one-of-a-kind natural quartzite countertops and shower accents add rich, organic beauty.
A Signature Hardware freestanding tub with a polished nickel floor-mounted tub faucet, sitting beneath an etched glass window, creating a focal point that feels both airy and inviting.
The result? A timeless, spa-like sanctuary—bright, open, and tailored to the homeowner’s vision of everyday luxury.
