William “Bill” J. Holleran
February 17, 1950 – November 2, 2023

We want to pay tribute to a man who made a deep impact on all of us. We at House to Home Solutions have been working with Bill Holleran and his Holleran Communications public relations and marketing team for more than four years, now. But it feels like we have known each other all our lives.

From the start, Bill made his presence known. He was our number one supporter and wanted to be a part of everything we did. He attended every company event. He was the first to cheer on our team and our successes. He was always eager to promote our news. Bill could put a positive PR spin on anything.

Bill quickly became — and he always will be —  part of the House to Home Solutions Team/Family!

His obituary shares a glimpse of Bill

“Bill was a master wordsmith and effective communicator. This expertise contributed to many successful positions in public relations serving a wide variety of industries. He was the owner of Holleran Communications for more than 25 years and an adjunct professor of communication studies and professional writing at the University of Maryland Global Campus. In his spare time, Bill served as a dedicated lector for many years at St. Rose of Lima Parish in Gaithersburg, MD. He was an avid fisherman, history buff, and a passionate follower of Washington and University of Maryland sports teams. He also enjoyed annual trips to Ocean City, MD with his family, and was an enthusiastic patron of Broadway musicals and the performing arts.

In addition to his wife Maryann, he is survived by his children Jason, Brendan (Stephanie), Kelly (Anthony), and his grandchildren Ethan, Elizabeth, Meghan, Declan, Owen, and Olivia, along with a host of friends and colleagues. He was predeceased by his parents, his stepmother Kathryn, and his brother Thomas.”

My Two Cents: Gone too early. Forever felt and remembered

There are many facets that make up a person and provide a glimpse into their lives and legacy.  Bill will forever be in our hearts and minds as one committed to verbal combat in the art of wordsmithing. He was a fearless warrior in the battlefield of communications. We will also never forget the acts of kindness and compassion he extended to one of our staff during a devastating time.

It is rare to find someone who believes in you and encourages you to be better without you even knowing it. My greatest memory is going back and forth on a project and reading at the end of an email with his suggested edits, “My Two Cents!” He never hesitated to tell you how he felt about something but in just the right way.

Gone way too early, but your impact will forever be felt and remembered!

May God bless your soul and provide peace to your Family!

My Two Cents!

“We Love you Bill”
