For more than 10 years, House to Home Solutions has hosted its Annual Appreciation Party, and every year it just gets bigger. Held earlier this month, 80+ people attended ranging from employees, subcontractors, vendors, and their families. And while yes, this was a party, and everyone was encouraged to (and did) have fun, this annual get-together was founded on the following three tenets:
- A big thank you. House to Home Solutions isn’t an island – without our great team of loyal employees, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers, we wouldn’t be successful in executing exemplary projects for our many clients.
- Teambuilding. Many of our field professionals don’t get to see each other except in passing on a job site. This event gives them the opportunity to get to know each other and develop friendships outside the work site, as well as introduce their families to each other. Different trades get to discuss projects and how each of their work affects the others.
- A picture’s worth a thousand words. Our Team and their families don’t always get to see the final product that their work played a role in bringing to life. That’s why we include a slideshow showing pictures of the jobs that were finished throughout the year – it really helps hammer home the valuable role our professionals bring to each job. It brings pride to their faces to be able to share with their families as well.
Highlights from this year’s party included:
- Home-cooked and catered food. Featuring slow-cooked pork, rice and beans, tender yuca (cassava) with homemade mojo, and more, this Latin-inspired meal featured many Cuban favorites.
- Dedicated bartender. What party is complete without specialty drinks? Our bartender was mixing up delicious and excellent, wine, beer, and cocktails all night.
- DJ Xtreme Sound. And of course, you can’t have a party without music (and some dancing, too). Local DJ Xtreme Sound served up a variety of tunes including, of course, some Salsa favorites to complement the Cuban-themed menu.
While this year’s party was a smash hit and our biggest event yet, it more importantly reinforced this fact: House to Home Solutions’ secret sauce is that we’re a well-rounded team that both works and plays well together!
